This is the third time a ban has been imposed on the app in Pakistan over objectionable content.

The order was issued by the court on the petition by Ali Zeb, a resident of Pakpattan in Punjab province, who alleged that TikTok was spreading immorality and obscenity in the country.

Pakistan banned TikTok citing immoral and indecent videos on 9 October 2020 but reversed its ban ten days later on 19 October 2020.

Then in March 2021, a Pakistani court ordered a new TikTok ban due to complaints over indecent content. (ILKHA)
