Sinwar said that his movement had discussed with Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel all details related to the ceasefire agreement with the zionist occupation reached following the latest round of israeli offensive on Gaza.

In a press release, Sinwar stated that Hamas told Egyptian intelligence chief Abbas Kamel that the Palestinian resistance is prepared to defend the Palestinian people if the israeli occupation launched any aggression on Gaza.

But the movement urged Egypt to pressure the Israeli occupation not to trigger any future conflict, the senior official pointed out.

He also emphasized that Egypt should take advantage of the positive political atmosphere worldwide in support of the Palestinian cause.

Concerning the prisoner swap, Sinwar confirmed that this issue will not be part of any humanitarian understandings but handled as a separate file.

“But we do not mind working on both tracks in parallel,” he continued.

Sinwar also explained that Hamas will hold a number of meetings with different factions in Egypt to kick off a national dialogue to heal the division.

He added: “Let’s rise up all, as Palestinians, united behind the resistance.”

The senior official hoped that the most recent achievements of the resistance would lead to placing the Palestinian issue on top of the world’s agenda again. (ILKHA)
