Global coronavirus death toll reaches 3,371,898

The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.

The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 599,314 deaths, followed by Brazil with 432,785 deaths, Mexico with 266,229 deaths, and India with 220,159 deaths.

At least 140,438,892 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
