Mishaal: Releasing Palestinian prisoners is our priority

Mishaal said during an interview with the Civilizations Center that there is a prisoner’s office within Hamas’s offices.

“This is a practical, regular, and leadership expression of the Movement's interest in the prisoners”, he underlined. 

He added that there is a special fund called the Al-Wafa Fund for Prisoners and the Families of Martyrs to ensure a good life for the families of the martyrs and prisoners and to guarantee freedom for the prisoners.

Hamas’s former leader stressed that the families of the prisoners are supported and taken care of and the prisoners in prisons are taken care of morally and financially.

Mishaal stated that Hamas always follows up on the prisoners’ news and supports them in their strikes, protests, and their legitimate demands from the administration of the “Zionist” prisons.

He also spoke about the permanent revival of the prisoners’ cause in the media, politically, publicly, and diplomatically and working on it with all the different parties regionally and internationally. (ILKHA)
