Gunman kills 10 people, including police officer, in Colorado grocery store shooting

“At least ten people are dead in Boulder, including the police officer who was referenced earlier. He had been the first officer on the scene,” said Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold.

Herold identified the officer as Eric Talley, who she said has been on the force since 2010.

I'm grateful for the police officers that responded and I am so sorry about the loss of Officer Talley," Herold said.

Boulder District Attorney Michael Dougherty said that the suspect was in custody. (ILKHA)
