Turkey records 20,428 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

102 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 30,061, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 3,013,122, after 20,428 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 1,568 patients are in critical condition, 2,825,187 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

At least 36,355,374 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
