Turkey records 8,962 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,364,801, after 8,962 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 2,512 patients are in critical condition, 2,236,938 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

More than 26,7 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
