A magnitude-6.1 earthquake hits Argentina

The quake occurred at a depth of about 202 km (126 miles), and was felt in Jujuy and western Salta provinces in Argentina, as well as parts of eastern Antofagasta Region in Chile.

There have been no immediate reports of damage or casualties as a result of the earthquake. (ILKHA)
