Addressing the opening ceremony of Kömürhan Bridge and Tunnels, Erdoğan said: “We will take necessary steps with our nation to build a great and powerful Turkey with the participation of all the segments in our country. With the reforms we will implement in economy and law, we are determined to further strengthen our country in investments, production, employment and freedoms and thereby create a climate which will make it easier for us to achieve our goals.”

Describing the bridge, built with national means over the Euphrates River, as the world’s fourth biggest project in its own category, Erdoğan said it will be one of the symbols of Turkey’s engineering prowess.

Drawing attention to the efforts exerted thus far to further enhance freedoms, prosperity and security in Turkey, Erdoğan said: “To date, we have implemented reforms both to address our existing shortcomings and to meet our people’s future needs. We will make 2021 a year of reforms. Under the leadership of the Presidency and the Parliament and with the participation of all segments in our country, we will take necessary steps with our nation to build a great and powerful Turkey. With the reforms we will implement in economy and law, we are determined to further strengthen our country in investments, production, employment and freedoms and thereby create a climate which will make it easier for us to achieve our goals.” (ILKHA)
