The foundation underlined that the conquest is a recreating and edificant movement that paves the way for felicity in the world and the hereafter.

“In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of all worlds. Peace and blessings of Allah Almighty be upon Muhammad, the family of Muhammad, his companions and all Muslims that will pursue the path of the Prophet until the Hereafter.”

‘Truly, We gave victory to thee, a clear victory.’ (Surah Al-Fath, 1)

‘You are the most beloved land to Allah, and you are the most beloved land to me. Had the polytheists not forced me out of you, I would never have come out and left you.’ (Tirmidhi)," the statement said.

The statement underlined that Mecca is the holiest city, where Prophet Abraham and His son Ishmael have built the Ka’bah, the symbol of Islam, and Abraha and his army were smashed by birds in flocks just before the birth of Prophet Muhammed (PBUH).

“And it is the city where the Prophet was born and raised, spent his teenage years, and where the first revelation descended,” the statement added.

“First Muslims, who were given the light of revelation with the issuance of the’ Read ' order, were excluded from the society in their homeland, subjected to various kinds of torture and suffering, boycotted and forcibly expelled from this holy city.”

The statement went on to say: “Our Prophet was forced to emigrate from this city, which He described as the most beautiful place on this earth. But Almighty Allah granted Him the conquest of Mecca with a blessed conquest. Thus, the idols were taken down in Mecca and the Ka’bah was completely made a clean sweep of the idolatry. With this conquest, in which the truth was victorious and the falsehood perished, all obstacles between Islam and humanity were eliminated.”

The conquest of Mecca was the conquering of the town of Mecca by Muslims led by the Islamic prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in December 629 or January 630 AD (Julian), 10–20 Ramadan, 8 AH.

The conquest marked the end of the wars between the followers of Muhammad and the Quraysh tribe.

By the conquest of Mecca, Islam spread very quickly in the Arabian Peninsula. People accepted Islam in-groups. Now, there was no power in Arabia to resist Islam. Within two years, except some Jews and Christians, Islam dominated all of Arabia. (ILKHA)
