Turkey reports 254 corona deaths, 14,205 cases in the last 24 hours

254 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 19,878, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,147,578, after 14,205 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.

While at least 4,309 patients are in critical condition, 2,015,230 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

23,777,926 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
