Russia records 20,977 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 31,161, an increase of 368 deaths in the last 24 hours.

1,350,741 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,271,744, with 51,397,965 cases and 36,193,930 recoveries. (ILKHA)
