Russia reports highest daily confirmed cases of COVID 19 since outbreak

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 29,887, an increase of 378 deaths in the last 24 hours.

1,296,124 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,241,143, with 49,122,214 cases and 35,038,682 recoveries. (ILKHA)
