Russia's death toll from coronavirus rises to 24,635

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 24,635, an increase of 269 deaths in the last 24 hours.

1,085,608 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,124,264, with 40,725,616 cases and 30,402,615 recoveries. (ILKHA)
