Russia's death toll from coronavirus rises to 23,491

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 23,491, an increase of 286 deaths in the last 24 hours.

1,048,097 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,098,007, with 38,813,780 cases and 29,161,895 recoveries. (ILKHA)
