Russia's death toll from coronavirus rises to 21,475

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 21,475, an increase of 117 deaths in the last 24 hours.

982,324 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, Brazil and India.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.

Global death toll from coronavirus have reached 1,042,337, with 35,435,460 cases and 26,645,156 recoveries. (ILKHA)
