Hidmi explained that the Zionist occupation regime is exploiting the Jewish holiday period to intensify the settlers' storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in conjunction with preventing Palestinians from reaching the mosque and praying in it under the pretext of the corona pandemic.

He pointed out that the occupation authority allows settlers who are more than 500 meters from Al-Aqsa to reach it meanwhile it prevents Jerusalemites.

The head of the Jerusalem Authority warned that the occupation took advantage of the corona pandemic and the deportation orders in an attempt to empty Al-Aqsa from Palestinians. However, Israel failed because of the continuous calls for frequenting the mosque and stationing there.

Hidmi stressed that the zionist occupation regime increased its boldness in committing crimes against Jerusalemites, intensifying the incursions into Al-Aqsa Mosque and trying to change the de facto situation in Jerusalem after the US recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of the zionist regime and Arab normalization with it.

He emphasized that the displacement of Jerusalemites and their deportation from the Al-Aqsa Mosque are international crimes for which they are accountable under international law. (ILKHA)
