Russia reports 5,762 daily confirmed coronavirus cases

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 19,195, an increase of 144 deaths in the last 24 hours.

901,207 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but it is now the country with the fourth-most cases in the world, after the United States, India and Brazil.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
