The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 6,874,596 cases, followed by India with 5,214,677 cases, Brazil with 4,457,443 cases, Russia with 1,085,281 cases, Peru with 750,098 cases, Colombia with 743,945 cases, Mexico with 684,113 cases and South Africa with 655,572 cases.
A total of 22,046,242 people suffering from coronavirus have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
