Coronavirus: Turkey reports 56 new deaths, 1,671 cases in the last 24 hours

According to the country’s Health Ministry, the number of confirmed cases rose to 288,126, after 1,671 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While 1,223 patients are in critical condition, 255,524 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

8,325,137 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
