Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus rises to 47

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 271,705, after 1,572 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While 991 patients are in critical condition, 245,929 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

7,247,935 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
