Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus reaches 6,284

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 267,064, after 1,549 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

While 917 patients are in critical condition, 242,812 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

6,937,088 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
