Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 15

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 227,982, after 963 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

211,561 people have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

While 1,280 patients are in critical condition, there are some 403 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

4,665,383 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
