Turkey reports 19 new deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours

In a statement posted on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Saturday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 214,001, after 1,006 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

195,761 people have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.

While 1,223 patients are in critical condition, there are some 402 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

4,021,974 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
