Hagia Sophia handed over to Directorate of Religious Affairs

After the Council of State ruled to annul the 1934 cabinet decision that had turned Hagia Sophia into a museum, Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan decided to hand over the site to the Directorate of Religious Affairs. (ILKHA)
