Turkey’s death toll from coronavirus rise to 5,115

In a statement published on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Monday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 198,613, after 1,374 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

171,809 people have so far been discharged from hospital after being cured.

While 1,018 patients are in critical condition, there are some 375 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

3,331,158 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
