Turkey’s daily death toll from coronavirus drops to 19

In a statement published on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country on Friday.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 194,511, after 1,458 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

167,198 people have so far been discharged from hospital after being cured.

While 963 patients are in critical condition, there are some 382 patients who are mechanically ventilated.

 3,186,622 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country. (ILKHA)
