Turkey reports 23 new deaths from coronavirus

In a statement published on his Twitter account, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca shared the latest official coronavirus figures in the country.

According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 187,685, after 1,192 more people tested positive for the virus over the past 24 hours.

160,240 patients suffering from the disease have fully recovered from the infection and been discharged from hospital.

While 803 patients are being treated in intensive care units, there are some 327 patients who are mechanically ventilated. 

A total of 2,945,240 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted in the country. (ILKHA)
