Russia reports about 9,000 new coronavirus case in the last 24 hours

The country’s death toll from the virus has reached 6,715, an increase of 183 deaths in the last 24 hours.

269,370 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured.

Russia was relatively late in suffering a serious outbreak, but now has become the country with the third-most cases in the world, after the United States and Brazil, having surpassed the United Kingdom and Spain.

The city of Moscow is currently the most affected federal subject, having the majority of confirmed cases.
