Mike Pence will not self-isolate after one of his aides tested positive for coronavirus

Vice-President Pence will continue to follow the advice of the White House Medical Unit and is not in quarantine, said Pence spokesperson Devin O'Malley on Sunday.

The United States Vice President Mike Pence will not self-isolate after spokesperson Katie Miller tests positive for Covid-19 and plans to return to the White House on Monday, his office said in a statement amid reports that he had entered self-quarantine.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Dr. Robert Redfield, director of the CDC and the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, Dr. Stephen Hahn have gone into quarantine because of exposure to Pence's press secretary, Katie Miller who tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday.

The United States has until now reported more than 1,367,000 coronavirus cases, with 80,787 deaths and 256,336 recoveries. (ILKHA)
