Death toll from coronavirus rises to 76,998 in the United States

8,329,036 people have been tested of which 1,295,058 tested positive in the country.

Until now, 217,292 patients suffering from the pandemic have recovered and been discharged from hospital in the country.

The U.S. has the highest death toll from coronavirus in the world, followed by Italy and Spain.

New York, which is being hit the hardest by the novel coronavirus in the U.S, has so far reported more than 337,421 confirmed cases, with at least 26,365 deaths.

According to Worldometer, a reference website that provides counters and real-time statistics for diverse topics, coronavirus pandemic has so far claimed the lives of at least 271,799 people across the world. (ILKHA)
