“We are grateful for our @NATO Ally #Turkey. Their support is helping U.S. companies who are doing good work to help fight #COVID19 around the world. We will get through this together, and come out stronger than before,” he tweeted.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Turkey has helped 55 nations around the world, by sending them cargo planes full of medical supplies. Turkey also exported ventilator parts to the U.S. and sent medical supplies to Palestine and the U.S. last week.

The outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, has killed more than 244,803 people around the world, with the total number of infections exceeding 3,485,936. (ILKHA)
