The number of coronavirus cases rises to 14,069 in Japan

With 126 new detected cases in the past 24 hours, including 72 cases in Tokyo, the Japanese capital, the number of confirmed cases has risen to 14,069.

There are 11,215 active coronavirus cases in the country. Of those, 287 patients are being treated in intense care units.

1,656 patients suffering from coronavirus have been discharged from hospital after being cured. (ILKHA)
