Coronavirus in Africa: The number of deaths surpasses 1300

33 more people have died from coronavirus pandemic in Africa, taking the continent’s death toll from the virus to 1,300,

8,364 people suffering from the virus have recovered and been discharged from hospital.

Algeria has the highest fatalities from coronavirus pandemic in the continent with 415 deaths, followed by Egypt with 294 deaths, Morocco with 159 deaths and South Africa with 79 deaths. (ILKHA)
