A total of 74,193 cases have been reported, an increase of 4,801 new cases in the last 24 hours, Koca said.
1,854 patients are being treated at the intensive care units. Of those, 1,040 people are mechanically ventilated patients.
7,089 patients have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospital.
A total of 477,716 tests have so far been conducted for coronavirus in the country, including 40,427 tests in the past 24 hours.
“We have exceeded the test target of 40,000 a day. The increase in the number of cases has remained predictable. In patients who need intensive care support, the course is under control... Our number of newly recovered patients is over 1,000. We have two powers: precaution, cure. Let's use our power,” Koca stated. (ILKHA)
