U.S. withdraws from another base in Iraq

U.S. and international coalition troops turned over the Khabaniyah base to the Iraqi military, Iraqi officials said.

The occupying U.S. troops, drawn from the Khabaniyeh base, were stationed at the Ayn al-Assad base.
