Bolsonaro calls for a national day of fasting and prayer in coronavirus crisis

Agreeing to a request from evangelical Christians, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro called for a national day of fasting and prayer this Sunday to free Brazil from this evil coronavirus pandemic.

“I am a Catholic, my wife is an evangelical. These people request a fast day for those who have faith. Soon, together with the pastors, priests and religious, we will announce, ask for, a day of fasting for all Brazilians, obviously, in the name of getting Brazil free of this evil as soon as possible,” Bolsonaro said on Friday.

“LOOK OUT! The Holy Supper will be at a new and unique time, at 10: 30 this Sunday, April 5th. The program will be broadcast live,” announced Silas Lima Malafaia, a Brazilian Pentecostal pastor on his Facebook page.
