Chicken meat production increases by 8.8% in Turkey

According to the statement, chicken meat production increased by 8.8%, number of the slaughtered chicken increased by 6%, hen egg production increased by 2.6%, and turkey meat production decreased by 7.4% in January compared with the same month of the previous year.

Chicken meat production decreased by 0.3% in January compared with the previous month, and realized as 183 thousand 713 tons.

Number of the slaughtered chicken decreased by 0.8% in January compared with the previous month, and realized as 103 million units.

Hen egg production increased by 1.6% in January compared with the previous month, and realized as 1.8 billion units.

Turkey meat production decreased by 21.1% in January compared with the previous month, and realized as 4 thousand 705 tons. (ILKHA)
