Referring to the so-called "Deal of Century" that announced by the U.S. President Donald Trump on January 28, Erdoğan said: "It is not a peace plan, it is an occupation project."

Erdoğan said that when the United States announced the plan, Turkey gave the biggest reaction to this plan.

About relations between Turkey and Pakistan, Erdoğan said: "Very few countries and nations get to have the kind of ties of brotherhood Turkey and Pakistan share. The coveted brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan is a true brotherhood strengthened by history and reinforced by historical events."

"We by no means see ourselves as strangers here in Pakistan. We feel ourselves at home here in the fertile geography of the Islamic world," Erdoğan said, adding: "Very few countries and nations get to have the kind of ties of brotherhood Turkey and Pakistan share. The coveted brotherhood between Turkey and Pakistan is a true brotherhood strengthened by history and reinforced by historical events."

Recalling the support the Pakistani people gave Turkey during its War of Independence, Erdoğan went on to say: "We never have and never will forget the aid the Pakistani people sent us during our War of Independence by scrimping and saving. We never have and never will forget the Muhammad Ali and Shaukat Ali brothers and Chaudhrys who joined their brothers fighting for their independence and sacrificed their lives."

"We will, inshallah, protect our primordial brotherhood forever," Erdoğan further stressed, noting: "Because our brotherhood comes not from blood relation but from ties of affection. Our friendship is motivated not by interests but by mutual love." (ILKHA)
