The European Yetim Eli is making orphans and the needy happy with relief efforts such as food and clothes aids, fresh water well projects as well as mass circumcision organizations in Africa.
In order to deliver the donations made by philanthropists to the needy, a delegation from Yetim Eli arrived at Kenya where they visited an orphanage. 300 students are studying Islamic and academic education at the orphanage
Abdullah Mohammed, an orphanage official, welcomed the European Yetim Eli delegation. Muhammad informed the delegation about the orphanage and the students that live there.
Stating that the orphanage, where 300 orphans live, has many needs, especially food, the European Yetim Eli delegation called on Muslims in Europe and Turkey to help these children.
During the visit, the delegation gave the students clothing support provided by philanthropists.
Giving information about their clothing aid, Serdar Şişman, volunteer representative of European Yetim Eli, said they were happy to provide orphans with clothing assistance.
"The families are living in abject poverty. People do not have proper clothes on; even they do not have shoes on their feet. There were people waiting here for hours to get a food package," Şişman added. (ILKHA)
