Despite urgent needs, Israeli authorities denied or impeded the majority of planned UN humanitarian movements on Sunday, leaving thousands without vital assistance.

Forced Displacement and Human Rights Violations

Israeli forces continue to issue devastating evacuation orders, displacing thousands of Palestinians from their homes. The recent order for residents of Al Mufti neighborhood in An Nuseirat, affecting an estimated 4,100 people, including those residing near UNRWA-managed displacement sites, highlights the ongoing human rights violations and the deliberate targeting of Palestinian civilians.

Critical Shortages Amidst Israeli Aggression

The Israeli blockade and ongoing military aggression have created a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Displaced Palestinians are facing critical shortages of food, water, and sanitation, with over two-thirds of households having been displaced multiple times in recent weeks. The constant fear and displacement are taking a devastating toll on the mental and physical health of the Palestinian population.

Education Under Attack

The Israeli assault on Gaza has severely disrupted education for Palestinian children. Less than 20% of school-age children can currently access any form of learning, depriving them of their right to education and a brighter future.

UN Calls for an End to Israeli Aggression

UN Humanitarian Coordinator Muhannad Hadi, during his visit to Gaza, emphasized the urgent need for an end to the Israeli siege and military aggression. He called for the protection of Palestinian civilians, including those seeking refuge in places of worship, and demanded that Israel allow the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to those in need.
