The operation, which was carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people and in response to the ongoing Israeli massacres in Gaza, achieved its intended objective, underscoring the growing capabilities of the Yemeni military.
General Saree emphasized that this operation, along with the recent downing of two US MQ-9 drones and the thwarting of a planned US-led aggression against Yemen, demonstrates the resilience and unwavering determination of the Yemeni people in the face of ongoing aggression.
Earlier on Sunday, US-British forces launched a series of airstrikes targeting the eastern region of Saada Governorate, further escalating tensions in the region.
The aggression targeted critical infrastructure, including the September 21st Park in northwestern Sanaa, which previously housed the First Armored Division, and a complex housing the Ministry of Defense and military administrative offices in the Bab al-Yemen area. The May 22nd Military Industrial Complex in the al-Nahda neighborhood also came under attack.
A senior Yemeni military source highlighted the advanced capabilities of the Yemeni Armed Forces, emphasizing that the country possesses a diverse arsenal of weapons, including hypersonic ballistic missiles, Zulfiqar ballistic missiles, and other cutting-edge technology.
The source stressed that Yemen possesses the ability to reach any target within the occupied territories and that the recent operations demonstrated the effectiveness of Yemen's intelligence gathering and ability to thwart enemy plans.
The source also warned that Yemen would not tolerate continued aggression against its people and that the attacks on Sanaa and other Yemeni cities would have consequences.
"We have established a new military equation: power grid for power grid and airport for airport," the source declared, emphasizing that the only way to end this cycle of violence is for the Israeli occupation to cease its aggression against Gaza and lift the crippling blockade. (ILKHA)
