Over the past 24 hours, Israeli occupation forces have been accused of committing three massacres against Palestinian families, leading to at least 27 deaths and 149 injuries.
Since the onset of the conflict on October 7, 2023, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached a staggering 45,541, with more than 108,338 individuals injured. The majority of the casualties are reported to be women and children, highlighting the devastating impact of the ongoing violence on the most vulnerable.
The situation is further worsened by the inability of emergency services to access many of the dead and wounded. The Israeli forces are said to be blocking ambulance and civil defense teams, leaving numerous victims trapped under rubble or lying on the streets.
This relentless violence persists despite international calls for peace. The United Nations Security Council has demanded an immediate ceasefire, and the International Court of Justice has issued directives for measures to prevent genocide and address the acute humanitarian crisis in Gaza. However, these calls have not yet translated into a cessation of hostilities on the ground. (ILKHA)
