The opening ceremony, held at the new office on Hürriyet Mahallesi Şehitlik Street, drew significant participation from local residents, political party representatives, and trade union members.

Speaking at the event, Cemil Cahit Ünsal, Vice President of the Orphans Foundation (Yetimler Vakfı), emphasized the dual responsibility of providing both material and emotional support to orphans.

“Orphans should not only be viewed through a material lens,” Ünsal said. “These children and their families require compassion and care. Alongside material aid, it is essential to visit them, meet their spiritual needs, and show kindness. Caring for them in the absence of their fathers holds great value in the sight of Allah. This is both a humanitarian and an Islamic duty.”

The opening ceremony began with a recitation of the Qur'an and highlighted the foundation's mission to combine moral support with tangible assistance, such as food and financial aid, to orphaned families in Hazro and beyond.

The Hazro office marks a significant step in the foundation’s efforts to connect with communities in need and provide prompt assistance. With its local presence, the foundation aims to facilitate faster communication with families and ensure timely delivery of aid.

Cemil Cahit Ünsal concluded his remarks by thanking contributors and volunteers for their efforts, wishing blessings upon the new office and those supporting its mission.

The Orphans Foundation continues its global commitment to helping vulnerable children and families, strengthening its impact through grassroots initiatives like the new Hazro office. (ILKHA)
