The ongoing conflict in Syria, now in its 13th year since its outbreak in March 2011, has led to the deaths and injuries of hundreds of thousands, and displaced millions from their homes.

Teams from the foundation, operating from Istanbul and Şanlıurfa, traveled into Syria to distribute aid. They focused their efforts in the Afrin region, where they set up distribution points for hot food and bread, and also made house calls to ensure that those unable to travel received assistance.

Erdal Elibüyük, Vice President of Hope Caravan, commented on the initiative while in Afrin: "We are currently in the Afrin region, where we encounter diverse ethnic groups. Our aim is to distribute hot food and bread, hoping that in the near future, all the people here can achieve self-sufficiency without needing external aid. We will continue these efforts, ensuring aid reaches those who are homebound."

Families who benefited from this aid expressed their gratitude, acknowledging the support provided by Hope Caravan and its sister organizations in meeting their critical needs. (ILKHA)
