In a press release, the ministry denounced Israel's breach of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by entering the Israel-Syria zone and continuing to advance into Syrian territory.

"We strongly condemn Israel's violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement by entering the Israel-Syria zone and its continuing advance into Syrian territory," the ministry stated.

The ministry highlighted the critical timing of these actions, noting that this period presents a significant opportunity for achieving the peace and stability that the Syrian people have long desired. "In this sensitive period, when there is a possibility of achieving the peace and stability that the Syrian people have been longing for for many years, Israel is once again displaying its occupying mentality," the ministry asserted.

Reiterating its position, the ministry firmly supported Syria's sovereignty, political unity, and territorial integrity. Türkiye continues to stand by Syria during this challenging time, advocating for a peaceful and stable future for the region. (ILKHA)
