In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt described the Israeli action as a clear violation of Syrian sovereignty and a breach of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.

Egypt expressed concerns that Israel is exploiting the current instability in Syria to expand its territorial control and impose a new reality on the ground. The statement further emphasized that Israel's actions are contrary to international law and undermine the principles of territorial integrity.

The Egyptian government called upon the United Nations Security Council and the international community to take immediate and decisive action to condemn Israel's aggression and ensure the full restoration of Syrian sovereignty.

Egypt also reiterated its unwavering support for Syria's territorial integrity and its commitment to working with the international community to maintain regional stability and uphold international law. (ILKHA)
