The ongoing offensive has exacerbated the dire humanitarian crisis faced by over two million Palestinians, half of whom are children.

Israeli forces continued their large-scale bombardment of northern Gaza, particularly in Jabalia and Beit Lahia, for the 63rd consecutive day. Civilians have borne the brunt of these attacks, which have devastated residential areas and shelters. The tight siege imposed by the Israeli army has left northern Gaza without access to rescue services, with deliberate attacks targeting ambulance crews and civil defense workers.

On Friday morning, multiple airstrikes killed and injured dozens of civilians. In one incident, Israeli forces bombed a residential block in Beit Lahia, resulting in numerous casualties. In Jabalia, two displaced persons were killed in an airstrike on Al-Rafei School, which was being used as a shelter.

The violence extended to the southern Gaza Strip as well. Three civilians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Khirbet Al-Adas, north of Rafah. Earlier, bombings near Al-Madkha School in Rafah city injured several individuals.

In a particularly harrowing development, Israeli forces reportedly surrounded Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, using detained Palestinians as human shields to raid the hospital. Those inside were ordered to gather in the hospital’s yard, further exacerbating the humanitarian toll.

The relentless Israeli campaign has also targeted residential buildings, with numerous structures in Gaza City and Rafah blown up in recent days. The destruction has displaced countless families, adding to the already severe crisis in the besieged territory.

The prolonged siege and attacks have pushed Gaza’s health, water, and food infrastructure to the brink of collapse, with heavy rains worsening conditions for the displaced. International humanitarian organizations have called for an immediate ceasefire to address the escalating crisis.

This latest wave of violence underscores the urgent need for international intervention to halt the assault and provide relief to the besieged population of Gaza. (ILKHA)
