The detainees were transferred to the European Gaza Hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza via the Kerem Shalom border crossing, where medical teams began immediate assessments and treatment.

Medical personnel reported that the detainees were in critical condition, with several exhibiting severe fatigue and visible signs of mistreatment.

The detainees had reportedly been arrested by Israeli occupation forces during operations in northern Gaza, particularly in Beit Lahia and the Jabalia refugee camp, amid the ongoing Israeli military campaign that has entered its 62nd day.

The Gaza Media Office reported that more than 1,750 Palestinians have been detained by Israeli forces in northern Gaza since October 5, with many enduring harsh conditions during their imprisonment.

The release of these detainees highlights the toll of the ongoing conflict on Gaza’s civilian population, raising concerns about the treatment of those detained during military operations. (ILKHA)
