Erdoğan emphasized that the Syrian conflict has entered a new phase and must be managed with composure to prevent further instability and civilian casualties.

He reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to de-escalating tensions, protecting civilians, and facilitating a political resolution to the crisis.

The situation in Syria remains volatile as anti-regime groups, led by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, intensified their operations against Assad regime forces.

Since November 27, these groups have advanced deeper into Hama province, seizing the villages of Erze, al-Wahshiyya, Kafrtun, and Yadgun. They are reportedly pushing southwest toward Hama Military Airport. (ILKHA)
